Let's start with the positives. 1. The atmosphere is nice only because of the giant statues of anime characters. 2. The waitress was good. 3. The sashimi was excellent. Then let's start with the negatives. 1. The paper menu is different from the one on the QR code, and I can't explain why the next table had wavy fries that weren't on the paper menu. 2. Some dishes were cold or lukewarm, compared to other restaurants they're usually hot. 3. Most of the dishes weren't that great, again compared to other restaurants. 4. The bathroom is neglected, doors don't close, and faucets with sensors are half broken.

I would have given the atmosphere and food a 5. The place was clean and the food was good, but the service was terrible. I'll start by saying that we made a mistake when placing our order, but the young man who served us was arrogant and rude, calling my husband a blockhead and an idiot. There are different ways of saying things, and I find this attitude truly questionable and in bad taste, especially considering we're older people.

King Oriente is simply the best! Super fresh fish, creative and always delicious rolls, fast and super friendly service. I leave 100% satisfied every time. For me, it's the best sushi in the area, unmatched!

Great Japanese food with sushi and hot dishes. Very nice ambiance and friendly service. The only downside to the sushi is that you get too many sushi pieces per order, so you don't get to try the wide variety. Very good value for money! We enjoy coming here on our vacations.

Always excellent food and very kind staff. Also excellent is the lunch formula for 9.90 with 4 dishes. You eat there and you don't spend too much. Recommended

Sushi Jazz

04/11/2025: The Place to Be in Pietrasanta One evening, while we were in Pietrasanta, we discovered this elegant lounge bar and restaurant while strolling through the streets of the city center. The jazz music enticed us to stop and take a look inside. The decor was superb. We decided to sit down for a drink since it was already late. A couple of regulars were eating, and we noticed they were serving sushi. Judging by the customer satisfaction, I think the quality is excellent. As for the cocktails, they were a real treat. It was a superb evening, and I recommend this place to anyone passing through this beautiful city.
28/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday evening, without a reservation and with no expectations. The place is worth it because the food is excellent and plentiful, the service is prompt, and the wait is practically non-existent. The selection of authentically Japanese dishes is remarkable, with many variations and detailed explanations. The price is fair, and the music—strictly jazz—is absolutely unobtrusive and of high quality.

07/09/2025: We love this place, different kind of food so everyone will be happy. Great food and great service.
29/08/2025: Gulkan salmon with truffle. That dish alone deserves 10 stars. Very good dishes, I don't like raw fish (only seared), but my partner does, and having been a chef, he knows his stuff. Two sore points... if the kitchen closes early, it should be announced when you book. We were told this upon arrival, and we even saw people get angry because they hadn't been notified. We complied, but most of the dishes my partner ordered never arrived. Some were sold out, but we hadn't been told and it wasn't written, so by the time the kitchen closed, my partner had eaten three dishes and some of mine, which luckily arrived almost immediately. It would be nice if the women's bathroom could be closed, it makes you anxious... and maybe a little more light in the bathroom (I don't know why, but in almost all oriental restaurants, there's no light in the bathroom...) Friendly waiters and staff. 4 stars for the problems we encountered, which would really take very little, but otherwise, SUPER. Special thanks to whoever makes the salmon and truffle gulkan. It made me choose it over lasagna. Never before had an Asian restaurant made me put lasagna second. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰
