One of the few remaining "underground" venues. A multipurpose cultural and artistic center, a true and tangible cultural hub where the pursuit of the profound connections linking human, social, and socio-political events to artistic production is always at the forefront. Dance, rock music, and truly groundbreaking bands and musical groups have made the Bloom, over the course of half a century, a cultural hub of great importance. The film program is excellent and varied in the tiny (be careful, there are only a few seats) and dark, poorly soundproofed lounge. It even has a stage; and, above all, seats that slope gently upwards, just like movie theaters used to, ensuring everyone, young and old, never miss a single inch of the wide screen, with excellent sound. The screening times and days allow for a wide selection, adapting to all needs. The kitchen serves dishes that, on certain occasions, respect the environment or the theme of the film being shown. Excellent draft beer, with stools and tables (few, so it's hard to find free ones) in a cozy bar area. Exhibitions, a courtyard market when scheduled, pizza every summer evening in the outdoor oven, concerts by young and well-known bands, always top-notch, the opportunity to dance if the music allows and the audience wants it, popular and always affordable prices, friendly staff, and a strong desire to foster culture and community in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Deeply rooted in the local area and extremely receptive to social, socio-environmental, and socio-educational issues, Bloom also offers a wealth of information on local cultural, socio-political, and socio-cultural initiatives, as well as on committees and associations working to resist the logic of social expropriation of the environment (such as the reviled Pedemontana della Brianza), the expropriation of traditions, and the sense of community. Ashtrays at the entrances offer smokers a place to rest. A space that can sometimes be annoying to walk through due to the smoke.
