BlackStone Cafe In Varazze

Very nice atmosphere. The food would be good, but €26 for spaghetti on a bed of shellfish, without even a hint of shellfish, is way too much. I was expecting a rich seafood pasta, but instead it was pasta with a red sauce, seafood flavor. I pointed out that the menu was misleading, but the waitress's response was first surprised that there were no shellfish, and then she told me that's normal, it's just sauce. I'm sorry, but I won't be back.

We had dinner at BlackStone in Varazze and had a very positive experience. The trofie al pesto was truly delicious, with a fresh, beautifully plated pesto, paired with an excellent Vermentino. The staff was friendly and welcoming, helping to make the evening enjoyable. The restaurant is located downtown, on the pedestrian street, an ideal location for a stroll. They also specialize in meat, but we'd love to see a few more vegetarian options on the menu. We also had no problem bringing our dog, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, highly recommended: we'll gladly return!

This has become a regular dinner stop whenever I'm in Varazze for a few days. The quality of the food and the meticulous preparation are undeniable. A sure thing!
