Fairly comfortable, but dated, especially in the common areas. Good air conditioning. Quiet, soundproofed room.

The old hotel was being renovated, and you could tell from the lobby and elevators that it was quite old. The room was fairly comfortable, and the soundproofing was okay. The bed was harder than the ones I've had in the past few days, and the pillows were low. Luckily, there was a high pillow in the closet. The comforter was old and thin, but there was a thicker comforter in the closet that I could use. The staff in the lobby seemed rather arrogant, while the staff at breakfast were friendly, but the breakfast was rather simple.
A nice and clean 4-star hotel, conveniently located for those catching a flight from Pisa Airport, which is just a few minutes away. The hotel is overall comfortable, and the staff was friendly.
One downside, however, is the grab-and-go breakfast for late-night or early-morning departures: unfortunately, it was truly meager and definitely below expectations for a hotel of this category. It's a shame, because with a little more attention to this aspect, the experience would have been much better.

The staff who greeted us were very rude.
We booked a triple room, but they gave us a double room with a camp bed practically attached to the double bed, and it was obvious it wasn't a triple.
With that camp bed, we couldn't open the window.
Necessary for a bathroom for two people.
Breakfast was available for a single group at a fixed time, forcing the entire group to go down at the same time.

The hotel meets the expectations of a 4-star hotel. The breakfast is very well-prepared, varied, and satisfying. You can't bring anything outside (someone might find this important to know!), but I agree with the policy.
The underground parking, in addition to being an additional cost, could use some minor renovations.
