Just gorgeous all round! Incredible fish and seafood, cooked perfectly with so much care and attention. I’d return for Il baccalà in umido alone, but everything was brilliant. And incredibly generous portions too ✨

High Quality. Genuine. It's definitely worth the price, which can't be found at a pizzeria...it was the first time we'd been there, so I'll reserve the fifth star for confirmation when we definitely see each other again!

It's our favorite seafood restaurant in Ravenna. The place is beautiful and atmospheric, the service excellent, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The dishes are simply fantastic, from appetizers to first courses, both raw and cooked, and second courses, all of which, in our opinion, are exquisite, fresh, and high-quality. We've become loyal to the Imperial Grill, which completely satisfies our seafood cravings. If you're passing through Ravenna, I recommend booking here and trying it—you won't regret it. Many, many compliments, see you soon!

Amazing place! The freshness of the fish was exceptional, expertly prepared by the chef. The staff was extremely kind and attentive to our needs, making us feel at home. In short, a gastronomic experience worth trying! Highly recommended!!!

Left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. What a lovely place! Seafood is delicious and fresh. Risotto creamy and smooth. Panna cotta to die for. Lovely atmosphere & beautiful service, thanks to Tony!

We visited this restaurant during a short stay in Ravenna to see the mosaics. What can I say...I don't know how long it's been since we've savored a dinner from start to finish, realizing, with every bite, how excellent the ingredients were and how divine the flavors were. We started with a tasting of marinated fish (very fresh) and continued with the imperial, a grilled selection of skewers and fish, gratin, and vegetables. This last dish, in particular, is truly exceptional, indescribable! Aside from the generous portion, the fish! Extremely fresh, flavorful, heavenly! It's a shame we didn't have room for dessert, since the desserts also looked very promising. But that's all the more reason to return. Congratulations, and congratulations again.

Finding the sea in the center of Ravenna is no easy feat: you won't find self-referential posters at the entrance, but inside you'll be welcomed with courtesy, spontaneity, and discretion. The restaurant, with a fishing theme and very well organized, with attention to lighting and good music, is in keeping with its star: Mr. Fish! We have a keen palate for the quality of the ingredients. Many dishes require excellent organization, which seems to be in abundance. The "LA LAVAGNA" concept is well thought out, with its many off-menu options and the catch of the day. The artisanal bread is delicious. The price is fair. The dishes clearly show the presence of a skilled, expert, and... imaginative hand! We'll definitely be back! Catia and Mario

20/09/2025: I booked a room for one night. Although the reservation was theoretically prepaid with no cancellation option, it turned out that they simply held the room without charge and there was the option to cancel. Useful information for the future. The room was next to the restaurant kitchen as if it were a staff room. Lots of noise from dishes etc. The room door did not close properly because the ground/room had subsided as I was informed and I had to try about 3 times to lock it. The room was dirty. The counter above the bed was full of dust, the bathroom had mold and cracked walls from humidity. The shower was broken and they had put a wooden base so it wouldn't be visible. There were spiders and webs everywhere. We got tired of taking a bath. There was a hair dryer that you couldn't use because neither its own plug nor the extra one it came with fit in the sockets. The room had no light except for 3 lampposts. It had broken walls all around. There were 3 other rooms available that night as I saw online and they chose to give us the dirty one next to the kitchen... I guess the rest were either much worse or they didn't really care. The pool was beyond description, how dirty it was. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned all summer and was just decorative. Overall a disappointment and if I had known that there had been no charge and I could cancel, we would never have come. It was not worth our 92 euros in any case. The food in the restaurant was good, without being anything special. The location is beautiful but we were so disappointed with the room that we didn't feel like enjoying it. Disappointing, that's the only word. I would give it 1 star but I'm adding another one for the location and another one for the staff who were kind (especially the lady at breakfast was amazing, to be fair).
17/09/2025: A magical place… fantastic… and with the charging station in the parking lot… excellent wine and food… a spectacular place to stop and recharge your batteries (in every sense)
