Bistro Balneum In Vipiteno

Small but nice! At the beginning: I was only in the bathing area, I can't say anything about the sauna area. There are 3 indoor pools, for swimming, splashing around for small children and a larger one for everyone with a lazy river and many different water features and massage jets. Of course, the warm outdoor pool is very nice, where you can swim out even in winter and enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains. There is also a small bar in the bathroom that sells a varied selection. It would be nice if you could pay there with the entry chip, so you always have to take money with you. All in all, the Balneum is worth a visit.

We tried this sauna following a mini holiday in Vipiteno. Staff at the reception were not very empathetic and helpful, asking if there was the possibility of entry, they told us no, turning their backs on us without saying anything else and the possibility of alternatives. We returned after half an hour, seeing the availability of entrances on the website. Jacuzzi not accessible, changing rooms without showers, only one, with only one hairdryer! Excellent cleanliness, the rest...not the best.

As an enthusiastic wellness fan, I now visit the Balneum Vipiteno regularly - and I am impressed every time! The variety of saunas is simply extraordinary: the classic Finnish sauna has intense temperatures (90–95°C) with regular bursts of steam, which ensure an invigorating sweating experience. Those who prefer something a little milder will find what they are looking for in the herbal sauna, where a pleasant 50–60°C and soothing scents invite you to take a relaxing break. The stone sauna, which was designed with regional natural stone and gives off a comfortable warmth, looks particularly authentic - a real highlight for lovers of traditional sauna culture. The crystal steam bath rounds off the offering with gentle steam at moderate temperatures and offers a gentle, skin-friendly sauna experience. In addition to the first-class saunas, the well-thought-out cooling and relaxation zones are also impressive: whether in the cool plunge pool or in the cozy relaxation rooms - here the circulation is perfectly stimulated and then gently calmed down again. The friendly service and the authentic alpine atmosphere make the visit a completely relaxing experience. For anyone looking for an oasis of relaxation and a diverse wellness experience in an authentic ambience, the Balneum Vipiteno is the first address. I can fully recommend this place!

We spent a wonderful Sunday with our family, first visiting the swimming pool, and then the splendid sauna area, which, on public holidays, is also open to children. Our children really enjoyed this experience. We will certainly return to this seaside resort in one of the next weekends.

After calling various spas, all of which were booked, we discovered this one in the Vipiteno area which told us that they don't take reservations and there is always room... in fact it is very large and offers every kind of service from the indoor pools and an outdoor one which are however crowded with families and children , on an upper floor dedicated to an internal and external sauna, wellness programs and an outdoor swimming pool to be used naked as swimsuits are prohibited. Beautiful experience outside the usual moralisms of the average Italian

Calling it a municipal swimming pool is a diminutive! A modern and very relaxing structure

Beautiful facility, everything clean and well maintained. The bathing area has a large swimmer's pool, a small children's pool and a medium-sized, shallow, warm pool with a whirlpool and whirlpool - and there is also a warm water pool with a bubble outside. The sauna is also great, various saunas, steam bath, Kneipp pool, whirlpool, bar - everything is available! The only point of criticism in my opinion is that the staff could do a little more to enforce the general order. Loungers are reserved with towels and not used for hours - there are many bathrooms that prohibit this and remove towels. Some guests' loud phone calls - sometimes Facetime - should also be stopped.
