Bordighera probably suffers from a reputation deficit compared to neighboring towns, despite having many advantages: it's well-served by train with a station close to the sea, boasts a beautiful and relatively uncrowded coastline, and offers excellent restaurants at very reasonable prices! Bistro 96 – whose discreet storefront can easily go unnoticed on the street – offers creative and original menus with expertly executed dishes, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere. The wine list offers an interesting selection at prices that encourage those who explore new tastes. Overall, the prices are more than reasonable for the quality.

This restaurant is one of my favorite tasting menus. A truly friendly welcome, a lovely dining room, a delicious table, a succession of dishes that are as beautiful as they are delicious, with superb cooking skills. We were impressed by the quality of the cuisine, beautiful plates prepared with great care and elegance. The service is impeccable, discreet and friendly. A great place in Bordighera.

Pico Centrale

11/01/2026: I went to the Pico Centrale restaurant in Sanremo thanks to my sister and a friend, who had already been there and enthusiastically recommended it to us. They said they had a wonderful time and would gladly return, even though it had been a short time since their last visit. And they were absolutely right. We ate wonderfully from start to finish. The cuisine is made with the highest quality ingredients, which you can taste right away. Over the course of the evening, we tried a bit of everything: meat, fish, pasta, and desserts, and every dish was truly delicious, carefully prepared, and made to perfection. There wasn't a single dish we weren't satisfied with; in fact, each one was better than the last. Our entire table was extremely satisfied, which isn't often the case when there are so many of us. You can tell there's passion, attention, and a desire to make the customer feel good. The service was also impeccable: the waiters were kind, helpful, and always smiling. The owner is a very friendly and approachable person, which makes the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxed. You feel welcomed, not just served. It was a truly wonderful evening, one that makes you want to come back right away. I absolutely recommend everyone to eat at Pico Centrale, because it's one of those places where you know you'll eat well, feel good, and leave happy.
