The croissant and cappuccino are certainly good, and the cream is excellent, but in my opinion the place is a bit too old and the cleanliness could be improved.

A good bar for going to San Luca or the stadium. Parking is difficult, but it's a traditional bar unlike any other.

They continue to churn out an excellent Certosino (= Pan Speziale) and an exquisite semifredo zuccotto!!! Very good!!!!!

A real gem of a caffe in Bologna. We spied it as we were walking down through the arches from San Luca at the top of the hill. It has a real charm about it. It seems like something out of 'Bicycle Thieves' from the 1040,s, full of genuine Bolognese people. We loved it. First you see the facade from the street which is the back entrance, but the front is typical too. Lots of options for food, stand up, take away or two large rooms around the back. The service was impeccable, and very busy, but every order is fulfilled impeccably. And everyone is right, the pastries were amazing. Definitely a real find. Made our day.
