A truly authentic experience on Easter Monday, in the heart of Barbagia, the Bignà e Carru restaurant is a little gem in Belvì and an unmissable stop for those seeking authenticity, warmth and real flavours. The welcome is kind, sincere and full of pride for one's land. The place is small but well-kept, intimate, with an atmosphere that smells of home and tradition. The menu is a journey through flavours, from local cured meats to homemade first courses, each dish tells a story, while the desserts - especially Is Caschettes, a typical dessert reserved for special occasions such as parties and weddings - are a final treat not to be missed. The quality of the ingredients, the passion that can be felt in every detail and the respect for traditions make this place unique, an experience that goes beyond simply eating. Highly recommended, we will definitely return, with a full heart and a happy stomach. A dear greeting and thanks to the owners, Salvatore and Francesca, Giovanni and Pina, Marco and Antonietta.

04/06/2025: An authentic surprise in Sardinia – 10/10 for the pizza! I stumbled upon Da Bastiano quite by chance through a mix of Tripadvisor and Google reviews – at first, I was a bit skeptical as to whether the hype was really justified. But: It is! The pizza was a real surprise – extremely good, thoughtfully topped, and made with high-quality ingredients that were perfectly matched. You can tell the passion and skill that goes into making it. The other dishes we tried were also really good – everything fresh, harmonious, and lovingly prepared. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the price: for the quality served here, it's more than fair. The service was okay – nothing extraordinary, but friendly and reliable. Bottom line: If you're looking for good food at a fair price, this is the place for you. Da Bastiano is definitely worth a visit – especially for the amazing pizza. I'll be back!

12/06/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this place yesterday for dinner. We ordered meatballs and vegetable fritters as a starter, followed by steak with baked potatoes and grilled vegetables. Everything was perfect and delicious, pure pleasure for the palate! We left super satisfied and with full bellies. We will definitely be back, and hopefully sooner rather than later!
