1. Rooms - Very basic but clean. 2. Restaurant - Food very good. 3. Service - It would have been 5 stars if not for the waiter, probably of Indian origin, who confused us by bringing us a menu with restaurant dishes (additionally paid) even though we had already purchased meals. The language barrier prevented us from communicating fluently. He was also pushy and made us feel uncomfortable. Fortunately, the reception staff helped and even printed out the menu in Polish (thank you for that, it's a nice gesture). I should add that if the menu was in multiple languages, we Poles are also in Europe and the European Union, so that should be standard practice.

We were here for hiking, so we stayed for several nights. The following are particularly positive: - The owner and her service staff - Restaurant quality - Location and view The rooms are simple but fine. The sauna is small and a bit dated. Many guests only stay for one night.

The rooms are rather simple and rustically furnished, which must be attributed to the fact that this isn't a fancy wellness hotel in the center of a city, but rather a house nestled in the wild mountain landscape at over 200 meters above sea level, halfway up the Stelvio Pass. Everything is spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, the central heating effective, and the bathroom perfectly adequate. The breakfast is good, and the dinner excellent with a good selection of South Tyrolean and Italian dishes. The five-course menu is outstanding and, at €35, more than worth the price. The staff are friendly and attentive. I don't even need to start on the incredibly beautiful surroundings. My stay on the last two days of opening before the winter break was extremely enjoyable, and I had no complaints whatsoever.

It was my first time here, and I felt very comfortable. Staff, service, rooms, sauna, pool, food, friendly people! What more could you ask for? I'll definitely be back. If you come across that one bad review, read all the reviews by this gentleman. That kind of review is a disgrace!

Excellent three-star hotel in the middle of the Stelvio Pass. Excellent service. The facilities are spotless, and although the rooms are simple, they offer a good night's sleep. A good shower. Improvements include the Wi-Fi in the rooms and the pool, which isn't heated. I suggest NOT booking through Booking.com (you can book directly at the hotel), as Booking.com applied a 20% surcharge without prior notice or justification when the reservation was paid through my dollar savings account.

A fantastic place to take a nice drive in the summer and enjoy some sporty corners. Highly recommended.
