Perfect mountain stop! We stayed at Gampen Alm during our hike and absolutely loved it. The location is stunning — remote, peaceful, and surrounded by mountains. The food was delicious and the showers were honestly the best I’ve had on a trek — super clean, new, and with hot water! If you’re passing through, this place is a gem.

About the restaurant (we didn't stay overnight): Great view from the outside area, very cozy interior, delicious and mostly homemade food. The service was outstanding.

Super friendly even when there is a lot of activity. We highly recommend the toboggan rental with easy and uncomplicated return to the parking lot.

Restaurant Pizzeria Tschafon

19/05/2025: Stumbled on this restaurant as one of the few places open in the village on a Sunday. Great welcome and service, a lovely outside area and delicious food. We had the tagliatelle con salsa di noci (creamy walnut sauce) which was very tasty, and the traditional goulash.
01/05/2025: Very nice place with tables outside surrounded by wisteria. Extremely good dumplings as well as the tagliolini with mushrooms. The owners very kind
