With three children, we battled our way through the snow to the alpine pasture. Once there, we were blown away by the view and the friendliness of the staff! The food was fantastic. We went down by sled. An absolute highlight of our holiday. Thank you so much, and see you again soon!

We hiked through the snow for a couple of hours to reach the mountain hut and then had lunch there. On the way back, we sledding down. It was a wonderful experience and beautiful scenery.

After a hike of about an hour and a half, with temperatures of -12 degrees Celsius, it feels like paradise. The place is small but welcoming, with extremely helpful and friendly staff. The dumplings and goulash are delicious and reasonably priced. An experience worth trying even in winter. I recommend crampons for the climb up to the refuge. The sled ride down is also very beautiful.

A truly beautiful mountain hut – both in summer and winter. We were there two weeks ago right at rush hour, but were still immediately noticed. We were kindly asked to wait a moment while they checked if there was a free table. Within a minute, we had a table inside. The food was delicious, and the prices were absolutely fantastic. The incredibly friendly staff deserves special mention. A hut with lots of charm and character, where you immediately feel at home.

RESPECT FOR GUESTS IS A FORM OF UNWRITTEN MOUNTAIN RIGHT, AND HOSPITALITY AND CUISINE ARE SACRED. THE GAMPENALM HUT IS THE MOST PROFOUND EXAMPLE OF THIS. I was there with my friend and our two dogs, Sam and Smilan. We were all welcomed with delight, and we ate the desserts, which were incredibly special. I highly recommend this hut.
