A special place I'll never forget because they kept my family ring that had slipped off my finger. I'm incredibly grateful to the customer who brought it back and handed it to Frank, a delightful and very kind man!

A positive experience, one we'll repeat! We stopped with the dog after a walk for lunch. The staff and owner were truly lovely, polite, and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced! We were satisfied with everything.

A picture-perfect stop. The dumpling trio here is simply the best I've ever eaten – and all the other dishes were heavenly. The rustic ambiance perfectly matches the welcoming host. If you climb the Partschins Waterfall, you'll pass right by the inn – ideal for a delicious break. It's also easily accessible by car or bus: the bus stop and parking are right outside. The terrace is wheelchair accessible and invites you to linger.

We ate there yesterday and were really satisfied. The portions were really good for the price 👍 The service was also very friendly. We felt very comfortable. I hope they keep the portion sizes and prices the same, then we'll definitely be happy to come back 😊

It was very tasty, the apple strudel is particularly recommended!

After a wonderful hike to the Parcines Waterfall, we stopped at the Gasthaus Birkenwald, and we couldn't have chosen better. We ordered a trio of dumplings (the best in a week of hiking in South Tyrol!), accompanied by a crispy cabbage salad and tagliolini with venison ragù, truly excellent. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors. The restaurant is surrounded by greenery, with a panoramic terrace inviting you to stop and relax. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for recharging your batteries after a trek. Special praise to the host, who is much more than just a host: friendly, personable, and a true entertainer, capable of making every guest feel like part of the family. Fair prices, quick and friendly service, and a location that combines nature and tradition. Highly recommended for those seeking good food, authentic hospitality, and a peaceful retreat after a hike.
