I wasn't able to visit the factory, but the store is really well stocked. It's impossible to resist!

For me, a motorcycle and cheese lover, it's become a routine to reach this shop/store. Even though it takes 2 and a half hours from Milan, the journey is still fun and I do it at least 3-4 times a year. I spent €150 on cheese but I filled my backpack and I'm fine for at least 2 months and it was worth it. Spectacular cheeses, I learned about them from a dealer and so I decided to buy them directly where they mature them. There are so many types, but the two that really drive me crazy are the one with chestnut leaves and the one with Barolo pomace. There are also others like toma al fieno, butter, toma al tartufo, verzin (similar to zola), Castelmagno d'Alpeggio, Crutina al tartufo (a delight), Losa, Cusiè. They also have a selection of cold cuts such as salami al Barolo and lard with spices. They also sell preserves, pasta, breadsticks, flours and craft beers. The products are delicious, I recommend them. I would have loved to tour the aging cellars, but you have to book.

A must-visit if you're a cheese lover. On our return trip to Spain, we made a detour to stop by Valcasotto to visit the aging cellar for one of the best cheeses we've ever tasted. Gabriella was very friendly and gave us a very interesting 45-minute tour. Afterward, we sampled several cheeses in the shop and headed home feeling replete.

Fantastic!!! Guided tour of the maturing of Cusiè and Valcasotto, including the Gran Riserva! Truly unique... very interesting! Alessandra, our guide, is friendly and helpful. Then, a mandatory stop at the shop to taste what we visited; you can't miss buying. Lunch at the Locanda del Mulino with a cheese platter and good wine. Menu curated down to the smallest details. A wonderful day. I highly recommend it. For the visit, you must also book the same morning.

We already knew about butter but during a village festival we tasted some aged cheeses: hay and beer, barolo and chestnut leaves.... WE DON'T REMEMBER EVER TASTING SUCH SUBLIME CHEESES...not even in France, the homeland of fromage...
We also took them home... luckily they sell online!
I would really like to come and visit the dairy!
