This place, I think, has two strong points: the atmosphere, which is informal, youthful, with a jazz spirit, and the friendliness of the staff. The food, I think, is not among the strong points. I don't doubt the authenticity and healthiness of the ingredients, rather the chef's ability to put them together. To be more precise: some things are good enough, some are not. The centrifuges, for example, seemed decent to me; but the tagliatelle, the hummus, the salad with felafel... they don't seem to me to be prepared with great skill and are of poor flavour, undercooked or overcooked.

Yesterday was my first time at Bensi and I wasn't very satisfied. I took what was marked on the menu as "quinoa gnocchi with aubergine caponata" but, in addition to the fact that the gnocchi seemed to me to be the "usual", there was no sign of aubergines, such and such a sauce, as well as a artichoke that we don't really know what had to do with it. Price 8 euros. The juice extractor, on the other hand, was good (4 euros), I would go back (perhaps) just for that.
