I had the pleasure of dining at Trattoria Bellavista for a "trial" lunch in preparation for a birthday party. I was pleasantly surprised that, although I've been vegan for a couple of decades without expecting to have dedicated dishes, I was instead met with enormous attention from the owners and the talented chef, who, aware of my "presence," prepared an excellent first course of penne with vegan ragù. The menu also features many dishes that lend themselves well to choices like mine, such as lentils with polenta, leeks, and diced vegetables, as well as cuisine that satisfies the palates of those seeking authentic, more traditional, and local cuisine. The very attentive and friendly service from the staff was the icing on the cake. A restaurant I highly recommend.
