Bellavista In Cervo

Wonderful Sunday lunch on the veranda with my friends to celebrate my birthday. The environment is very welcoming, the view spectacular, the service accurate and friendly. I had agreed on a menu with traditional Ligurian dishes: excellent! I will definitely be back! Highly recommended restaurant!

Oggi ho mangiato al ristorante “Locanda Bellavista “ Piazza Al Castello, 2, 18010 Cervo IM . Esperienza mediocre. Location molto bella, cibo discreto. Principalmente pesce. Consiglierei più terra per permettere di mangiare tutti e più pietanze. Merita sinceramente per il posto.

Very nice location, decent food. Mainly fish. I would recommend more land to allow everyone to eat and more dishes.

Dopo anni che frequento cervo, sia per lavoro che per svago, eravamo a fare vedere il bellissimo borgo e gli amici ci hanno offerto di portarci a mangiare pesce. Ho proposto ai miei amici di andare a mangiare qui, perché alcuni me ne avevano parlato bene. Il locale molto datato ma curato come pure i tavoli e le decorazioni. Primo di pesce andato bene chi ha scelto un piatto diverso dalla maggioranza, ma per gli altri che hanno scelto lo stesso piatto è stato servito in vassoio perché in 5 era il primo spaghetti ai frutti di mare allo scoglio. E c'è li siamo dovuti mettere noi nei piatti con tutta la scomodità visto si tratta di cozze devo dire di ottima qualità, ma molte vuote inserite solo per fare volume nel piatto di portata ma alla fine da mangiare c'era pochissima pasta, da fame. Mentre con il secondo compreso i fritti di calamari si sono meritati il punteggio erano ottimi. Per il caffè hanno servito dei mini dolcetti per tutti, molto graditi. Per nulla soddisfatti del vino bianco in brocca servito: purtroppo devo dire che era scadente addirittura pareva annacquato. Il fatto che il cliente chiede vino in brocca non significa che deve essere di scarsa qualità. Faccio presente che in famiglia ho tre cognati produttori di vino DOCG e uno è vincitore di premi tra i migliori vini di Italia Luca Maroni, e Gambero Rosso.

We had better expectations. Modest appetizers, spaghetti with seafood not exceptional and frying just passable. The best things are the desserts. The venue is in an excellent location and the welcome and service are excellent. The cuisine was nothing of unsuitable quality/price.

Visited in May 2024. Small detour from the main road to go to this restaurant identified thanks to reviews. Very friendly family restaurant located in a pretty village where it is good to take a digestive walk. Warm welcome, and what's more, the owner speaks French, simple but tasty cuisine. The fish, whole, was excellent. Did not test the terrace because rain threatened. This will be for another time because it’s an address to remember!
