13/07/2025: The picio all'aglione, pappa al pomodoro, and eggs with truffle were all very good. The cantucci and vinsanto were not up to par. The service was courteous but slow. There are outdoor seating and an indoor dining room.

03/07/2025: Osteria la Piana is undoubtedly the right place for those who want a gastronomic experience among the authentic flavors of the Sienese territory. You will always find good quality raw materials, local cured meats and cheeses, first courses full of flavor and truly excellent meat. The environment is simple, but well-kept and pleasant, with chestnut beams, terracotta floors and walls covered with relics of a Siena of the past... but still contemporary in many respects. In the summer months there are also several tables available outside, in one of the most characteristic streets of Siena. The service by Marco - the owner - and his collaborators is friendly and efficient, without too many frills and therefore fully in line with the spirit of the place. Also considering the more than affordable prices, I can only recommend La Piana.
