We stopped for an "impromptu" and very successful lunch break. Extensive "business" menu, with a great burger (but there are many other choices), drinks (including beer) and coffee included. Cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Beautiful, well-kept place with friendly and fast service. We ordered the meat, good pouring, but we will definitely be back to try the pizza too. excellent quality/price ratio. Highly recommended

Very nice place..it's a shame that the pasta arrives cold..French fries with dated oil are immediately noticeable..Chicken supreme is a Gordonblue from Lidl also broached in old oil. Too bad the place is very nice But the food leaves something to be desired

How wonderful, I didn't know it as a place, then I stopped and saw the room... nothing short of enchanting! Congratulations service!! bar with tobacconist, quality food at normal cost with a wide choice of meat, pizzas, salad, veg, and more! Soon there will also be a hotel... The owner is very good!

04/01/2025: Excellent location, traditional Lombard dishes. For having taken only one dish from the work menu, I consider it a little pricey.
24/12/2024: I've been there several times, both for lunch and dinner, it's a place that I really like. The idea of ​​mixing a trattoria with a butcher's shop and offering "poor" dishes that are now difficult to find is brilliant... Brains, nerves, various offal that may make some people turn up their noses but which for lovers of the genre are memories of childhood, a blast from the past! The only flaws are that it's a little expensive, especially at lunch... just leave the fixed menu and the bill goes up a lot and the temperatures are freezing if you end up in the local butcher's shop.

27/01/2025: The location is beautiful and the view is amazing. You get a lot of aperitif before your course. The menu is quite good and extensive. The staff is also very nice and friendly. The food is okey, it looks very beautiful and they know how to do make it, but it is not our taste. It is very expensive for what you get, you can get things local for way less and the same quality.

The service is exceptional, with a staff that is not only incredibly attentive but also genuinely kind and friendly. We enjoyed several dinners in August here, including a birthday celebration, and loved every single moment. A huge thank you to the amazing staff for making every experience so special—you truly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varenna!
