We spent a lovely few hours here at Klausberg. The gondola ride up the mountain was fantastic. There's plenty to do at the top, and there are excellent restaurants.

For hikers, the Klaussee is recommended, although unfortunately there is no proper circular route from the mountain station, and you have to take the same route there and back. It was also disappointing that so many alpine pastures were closed.

The place is beautiful and tidy. There is a zip line and a slide with beautiful curves. Fun. The price is 46 euros for the package, including the zip line and slide. The price for the cable car is 29 euros.

04/11/2025: One of the most beautiful, rustic, and fun Törggelen taverns (run by Christian and his father) we've ever visited. The food was very good, as was the wine.
14/10/2025: An original host who takes you back in time; the food is a bit unusual but delicious. Wine is the house drink, not beer. Everything is homemade. Reservations are required; otherwise, no change.

29/10/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; the family and staff were hospitable and friendly. The building was beautiful, the food and wine were delicious. The location and surroundings were lovely and peaceful. The wine tasting with Helmut is highly recommended. We'd love to return.
23/10/2025: Once again, fantastic! Delicious food, clean and spacious rooms, and a fantastic wellness area. The Raffeiner family and the staff are super friendly and helpful :-)!
