A superbly rustic wine tavern, where Mali herself still cooks. A breathtaking view of South Tyrol—I've never seen anything like it. There's a small food selection where everyone is sure to find something they like. The Schlutzkrapfen (scraps) are among the best I've ever eaten; every bite is a delight. We'll definitely be back and stay there again.

The food was delicious and the service cordial – unfortunately, the lack of a menu significantly dampens the overall impression. When comparing the price list with other reviews, we realized that we paid about €20 too much for our order (2 Schlutzer sausages, 1 coleslaw, 1 small Straube, 1 small portion of Apfelküchle, 1 elderberry, 1 apple juice) at €64. This seems arbitrary and lacking in transparency – a real shame given an otherwise pleasant experience.

WE'VE BEEN HERE FOR THE XTH TIME. The icing on the cake was 20 people for team building and that's when you realized what TEAM means, delicacies together are 10 times better together. Thank you Mali! Will definitely come back with a team, man or woman, at least with friends! LG Alexander

For our annual Global Strategy Meeting, our entire company management team stayed at a nearby hotel for four days. On the evening of our traditional team event (this time a visit to a 3D archery course), we had dinner at the Buschenschenke (a local wine tavern) 🙌🏻 Rustic, cozy, inviting... The food was absolutely delicious 😄 A fantastic evening, something we should experience more often!

20/07/2025: We went to this hut for lunch during the hike. First of all, I would like to point out that the hut faces a large influx of tourists in the summer, so refreshments are possible in two ways: Either just a bar and small dishes (outside) or a restaurant with indoor seating. The service is pleasant, but despite their large number, they sometimes can't keep up. The offer is wide, but the prices are higher even among alpine huts due to the high demand; fortunately, the portions are large, so you can fill up even with just the soup.
19/07/2025: It's not a refuge, but a restaurant. The "refuge" sign was rightly removed from the facade, and you can't stay overnight. The food is fine. Landscape-wise, the outdoor structures are becoming too invasive for the place, but that's probably what the mountain nightlife demands... Luxurious interiors Space-like bathrooms (a futuristic work of art with unique lighting)

Gasthof Sonne

29/03/2025: Gasthof Sonne is a historic hotel in the center of San Lorenzo di Sebato, near Brunico. Excellent location for visiting the Pusteria Valley. I stayed in an excellently furnished single room, large bathroom and comfortable bed. Super breakfast with fresh bread and excellent croissants, dinner is typical with a strong point in the soups. The rating takes into account quality and price.
