We had a wonderful experience. The food and service was great. There was no wait but we did eat earlier than the normal eating time. We were still adjusting to the six hour time difference.

I had a really good time! The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was superb, and the prices were even better.

Small, typical Italian restaurant a stone's throw from Piazza Ferrari. The owner is super nice. We tried the pizzas. They were really good. With a small local beer, a treat. I recommend it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "Finally, service worthy of the place" We've been customers of Barrevento in Genoa for a while, and to be honest, we'd been a bit disappointed in the past with the dining room management: often disorganized, long waits, and little attention. Lately, however, things have definitely changed—and for the better. During our last dinner, we immediately noticed the difference: the new black man in the dining room, Victor, stood out for his professionalism, speed, and attentiveness. Even though the place was packed, he literally went out of his way to get us a table outside and seat us, with a courtesy and promptness rarely seen these days. He was present throughout the entire service, with a smile and the energy of someone who truly wants to work, an increasingly rare thing in the industry. He recommended the shrimp skewer (exquisite) and the churrasco steak (very tender and well-cooked). Compliments also to the chef, excellent dishes, generous portions, and prompt service. Thanks to the professionalism demonstrated by this new guy in the dining room, we'll definitely be back more often. Barrevento has rediscovered its spirit—and with staff like this, it's a pleasure to return. Thanks also to the very kind owner, who even offered us a complimentary amaro.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “A magical night at Barrevento” We spent a truly enjoyable evening at Barrevento in Genoa. The atmosphere was perfect: light air and a relaxing background. One of those nights you don't expect... and that stays with you forever. The food was excellent: carefully prepared dishes, very large portions but balanced flavors. The meat was cut and cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. Sincere compliments to the kitchen. The service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive but never intrusive. A special thanks to the head waiter, always discreet, helpful, and professional. He has that attitude that makes you feel looked after. And at the center of the positively obsessive attention to detail and a smile. He's one of those people you can tell really puts in the effort. In short, a magical night, made special by good food, a lovely atmosphere, and service that makes all the difference. We will gladly return.

Average. The server seemed to have forgotten the drinks (water), and the cold appetizers took as long as the hot dishes. The servers are a bit disorganized, and there's a wait after 8:30 p.m. There's also a wait to pay.
