Barracuda: a sure thing in the heart of Baia Sardinia
We returned after two years, and once again, Barracuda exceeded all expectations. So much so that we returned for two nights during our vacation.
The restaurant is located in the main square of Baia Sardinia, in a very central and charming location. The welcome was impeccable: the staff were extremely kind, punctual, and extremely efficient. The comfortable seating also deserves a special mention—an often overlooked detail, but one that makes the experience truly enjoyable.
We started with appetizers recommended by the waitress:
Fried shrimp candies to be eaten whole, crispy and delicious, accompanied by fried seaweed.
Fried tuna meatballs: flavorful, light, perfect.
Mussels with crostini: a classic executed to perfection.
But it was with the first courses that Barracuda truly won us over:
Mezze maniche with mantis shrimp and cherry tomatoes: full and balanced flavor, a memorable dish.
Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù: a surprising summer choice, but definitely worth trying for its delicate, balanced flavors.
Spaghetti with clams: simply perfect. A true Neapolitan, we've rarely tasted anything so good. A masterpiece of simplicity and technique.
For our second course, we shared an octopus tentacle on pumpkin cream: haute cuisine presentation, a flavor worthy of applause.
To finish on a sweet note: tiramisu, baba, and torta caprese. All excellent, especially the tiramisu, soft and delicious.
The service was fast, courteous, and always attentive, with excellent value.
If you're passing through Baia Sardinia or the Costa Smeralda, Il Barracuda is a must-see. Excellent cuisine, a charming location, and a perfect atmosphere. Thank you for giving us another unforgettable experience.

Everything was delicious, the staff were very kind and it was a great dinner experience.
The charcoal grilled lobster, cappellini and especially the mussels are must-try!

Restaurant on the seafront of Baja Sardinia, very nice, you eat very well, I recommend taking the catch of the day, Valerio will accompany you to personally choose the fresh fish at the counter and will advise you on the best cooking method for the fish chosen, possible baked, grilled or salted. Ready and prepared staff, prices in line with the quality of the food and location. Approved

Place divided between bar and restaurant. I used the bar because I had a light lunch there. Price in line with the place, Baja Sardinia, tables under the porch always fresh and ventilated. Choice between salads, sandwiches, toasts and platters, drinks and beers, also on tap. The food is good and fresh, we had a good time

We almost didn't go to this amazing place because of some poor reviews. Happily we ignored them and went anyway. The food is both genuine and well prepared. The prices are expected for a tourist region, but still not excessive for the quality. Looking forward to trying more dishes here. The staff was not only friendly and attentive but also helped try to keep wasps from landing on our food.
