Beautiful day dedicated to visiting the company and tasting their products. Really beautiful and relaxing place.

The Etna winery with the longest history, a few kilometers from Milo. At the entrance the staff will ask you if you want to tour the cellar immediately or later, in our case it happened later. We were offered a selection of 5 wines as finger food. The explanation of the wines and the uncertainty of the waiters did not make the experience what we imagined. Moving on to the wines, the whites have a different flavor from the other whites of Etna, good, while the reds are a bit disappointing, especially the Sciara. The visit with explanation, carried out subsequently, did not convey to us what we imagined from such a cellar. I would not recommend the place if you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a good price, i.e. €45.

I am a sommelier who has worked in various high end restaurants. I really enjoyed both the wine tasting and the food at this winery. The wine has a classic old world feel without compromising the quality and beautiful fruit. The aging in chestnut barrels was an absolute pleasure to experience. Very cool old location to visit. The food was a five course menu with wine pairing and I highly recommend it. My favourite wine was the Etna Reds. The menu was a lot of fun with some creative dishes. Overall great experience.

Came in unannounced and received a very warm welcome from Alfonso. Presented his wine, offered to taste whatever we were interested and shared stories. Beautiful and well kept place with astonishing views. Worth adding to your trip planning and reserve for a full experience. Alfonso also offered without hesitation to help with my car rental issue with tire pressure. “Just bring it in the back and I will look at it”. Can’t say enough how we appreciated that. Really pleasant experience. The location is amazing, from here you can enjoy a beautiful view, which from 700 meters above sea level where we are, extends admiring the company's vineyards to the sea. We were accompanied on the visit to the cellar by Fabiana (top) who, after a complete and pleasant illustration of the history and territory around us but above all of Etna, accompanied us to visit the barrel room where we can admire six barrels from the 19th century which they can contain from 12000 to 21000 liters of wine. After the visit to the cellar, we were accompanied to the restaurant where, again expertly assisted by Fabiana, we were able to taste 5 of their excellent wines, accompanied by excellent dishes prepared by the chef. The price is adequate for the service.
