A superb view and great food. The service was very attentive. We'd be happy to come back. The Kaiserschmarn was excellent.

After the climb, the Bärenbadalm was just the thing – a wonderful rest stop with a magnificent view! We received a very friendly welcome, and the portions were generous and delicious. The Kaiserschmarrn and fried potatoes were a real highlight – fresh, homemade, and simply delicious! A wonderful place to enjoy, recharge, and let your gaze wander. Highly recommended!

Beautifully situated with views all the way to the Dolomites. Easily accessible by bike or on foot. The host is very friendly. If you need something to help with digestion, just ask. There's a selection to choose from, such as hay, larch, or alpine rose schnapps. All very tasty, but not on the menu. We'll definitely be back.

Bad Turmbach

05/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wonderful lunch at Bad Turmbach! We had lunch at Bad Turmbach and were completely delighted. Very friendly, attentive service and top-quality cuisine. The steak tartare and venison ragout tagliatelle were excellent, followed by the Turmbach trout and, for my wife, the braised beef cheek – both perfectly prepared and delicious. A wonderful place to enjoy – we'll definitely be back!
27/09/2025: We had dinner at the Bad Turmbach restaurant twice, and what can I say... it was fantastic! Excellent service – wine list and advice = first-rate! The dishes were freshly prepared and delicious! And for dessert, the Zirmer cake – I'm lost for words: Outstanding!!!!! We'll be back on our next trip to South Tyrol!!! Great, great, great!!!

23/10/2025: A nice place to relax. Poor toilet facilities.
22/10/2025: It was a crowded Sunday, with full tables and a long wait (45 minutes) for a hamburger and two hot dogs. (They have a tiny kitchen.) The quality of the food we tried was average. The price was medium-high. €15 for a hamburger with fries. €8.50 (about, I'm not sure) for a hot dog without fries. They had daily specials on a blackboard, but no one told us, so we just chose what was on the menu. It's a shame the cooked dishes looked better. The person serving the tables was kind and helpful. It's hard to find with Google Maps; currently, incorrect directions lead to a street above the intended one.
