Beautiful experience in this mountain hut overlooking the meadows, lots of kindness, hospitality and excellent food (perfect dumplings). Dogs welcome and pampered with lots of biscuits and water for them. Thank you !

Gasthof Zur Krone

07/01/2025: For a short ski trip, we stayed for 2 nights with a tour group at Hotel Zur Sonne in Lajen. We received a very hospitable welcome from Oskar and the staff and had a delicious breakfast and dinner. The rooms have recently been renovated and have good mattresses and shower + underfloor heating. Thanks to an excellent public transport connection, you can reach the ski area in Ortisei in half an hour. Considering the price-quality ratio, highly recommended.
