I'm updating my review for the sake of honesty. I went back a second time three weeks later and had a better experience. The fried food was delicious, as were the stuffed squid. I really appreciate the fact that the bathroom stocks disposable accessories for both women and children (panty liners, diapers, and toilet seat reducers), and the quality/price ratio is definitely excellent. I'm honestly giving it one more star than my previous rating.

I think Cecine's best days are long behind us.
Of course, I don't go to Bardo because of the ambiance, but the food is fantastic.
You pick something at the counter and it's brought to your table a few minutes later. This way, you can try everything little by little, perfectly figuring out the quantities.
They also have a relatively good wine selection.

We ate here at the beginning of our trip and went back on purpose on our way back, we loved it so much! The food is truly excellent, especially the fried food: some of the best we've ever tasted. Quick service, very kind and welcoming staff. Highly recommended, it's definitely worth the detour to eat here!

A very nice place for a quick bite of delicious seafood. Seafood risotto paired beautifully with excellent fried fish.
Prices are average, perhaps even slightly below average. The staff is very friendly. Overall, a must-visit if you're in the Cecina marina area.

Excellent place for fried fish and other delicacies. They don't take reservations, but they do have a sign outside where you can write down the names and number of diners. Service is efficient and fast. The only downside is that the tables are a bit small and the wait can be a bit long on busy days. Highly recommended!
