13/02/2025: Grande Ettore, the owner and seasoner of great cured meats. Thanks to a delayed train I accidentally discovered this ancient shop. High quality products, pleasant environment, absolutely non-touristy and chatting with the butcher makes the stop truly unique!
30/12/2024: When I want to eat something really good that is almost impossible to find, I go to the Valla delicatessen. The owner is a truly unique character, just as his shop is unique. If you pass through Piacenza, go and visit him, you won't regret it.
