We came for meat and two chops. They were nothing special, edible, although a little cold when they were served. They took about an hour to serve.

Good quality meat and very friendly and helpful staff. A table of 16 is not easy to manage. Kudos to the service.

If you like good, well-cooked meat, this is the place for you.

Beautiful place, perfect service, and quality food. However, I would have expected larger portions. For what I ate, the price was high.

Two starters, a bottle of white wine, and two desserts: €96. The atmosphere was pleasant, even though there was no air conditioning and it was a bit hot. The starters were average, but the chocolate cake was probably one of the best, if not the best, we've ever had.

A very good alternative to the usual pasta and pizza, with very friendly and attentive service, good drinks, and exceptionally delicious food. Perfectly prepared and presented.

The head waiter is kind and very knowledgeable. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the attitude of the priority waitress. We made a reservation and upon arrival asked to sit outside, but the owner dismissed me quickly, after a good look, saying that rain was forecast and therefore they would only serve inside. Not a cloud in the sky. When we went out, our friends, however, had been allowed to eat outside. I think that in a place where you spend significant amounts of money, the customer should be satisfied. Period, especially if there's no reason to say no to a very simple request. The meat is excellent, but the prices are absolutely out of this world (I live in Rome, so these products are available and I know the price). The Cecina carpaccio is a must-try, it was a wonderful discovery. However, in the steak, I found a nice hazelnut that wasn't listed on the menu, and this is also a significant mistake due to allergies that I don't think I need to specify. That said, I've gone out a couple of times to smoke, and the door handle is a riot of grease because they come through from the kitchen to show off the meat after cutting it, without taking off their gloves (rightly so), but anyway, because dinner isn't a free gift, I don't expect to put my hand on a handle and find it covered in grease. For the rest, everything is very nice: furnishings, table setting, etc., but the lady should be less pretentious.

The three of us had dinner on the evening of Thursday, August 21st (it was stormy outside). A lovely, intimate restaurant in the lower part of Portoferraio (right by the port) with well-appointed decor. We ordered different dishes, and the meat in all of them was top-quality (I specifically ordered the Sienese beef asado, and I dare say it's the best meat I've ever eaten), and the food was beautifully presented. Excellent service, with very friendly waiters and owners. I mentioned that I'm celiac, and they even brought me gluten-free bread separately (I appreciated that it was still sealed). The restaurant was quite busy, so I recommend booking in advance, as we did. The quality/price ratio was more than fair. The owner was very kind and, given the weather, suggested we wait for a slight rain shower to stop before going to the car (it was almost midnight, everyone was leaving and they were closing up shop). She also advised us on the best route back to the hotel without passing through the lower part of Portoferraio, which floods easily (these were the days of the orange alert, and just the days before, there had been several floods and closures). The only thing I'd like to point out: they have a beautiful dog inside the restaurant who stays tied up near the kitchen and is very calm and sociable (except that night when it thundered, she barked, and that's fine, poor thing). I don't know if it was just for that night or not. I'm mentioning it anyway, because someone might be afraid of her, but just ask to be in the other room.

What a wonderful place this is. High quality, impeccable service, perfect timing, fair prices. They also have a very interesting and varied wine cellar, but the most beautiful thing is the decor. This place is alive, it has an identity, you can really tell whoever decorated it loves it, you can feel the love.

Truly excellent charcuterie platter, with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The meat was a pleasant surprise: tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were friendly. I really don't understand the negative reviews; I had a great time and will definitely be back!
