The coffee was good, but the cups were dirty and hadn't been washed properly after the previous customer. When I asked the staff to change my coffee, they did so very politely and without asking unnecessary questions, so I thanked them. However, I think the cups should be washed in a special machine and not simply rinsed with hot water from the coffee machine, because that way they don't really come out clean.

The managers are friendly and make you feel good. The coffee, pastries and fruit juices that I had the chance to taste are excellent.

I would not say it's a scam but overcharged me a caffe late and cornetto for 5 euro which should be usual around 3euro and didn't even give me a receipt. I would assume because I look very "different " from them even though I spoke Italian to the elderly waiter. It is very disappointing

Extremely delicious coffee and an incredibly nice owner. Not a very touristy place, but that is definitely an advantage of this place.

19/09/2025: We shared an octopus salad, and then I ordered cream cheese, which arrived frozen, but even that didn't ruin our meal. The waiter was very friendly and explained what each fruit was.
17/09/2025: Update Just ate here again and different experience. Ordered t-bone steak again and we suggested 800 grams. Waiter said larger would be better so we said less than 1kg. We had to force ourselves to finish the meat and we didn't feel that great. The bill showed that the weight was way over 1kg. Nearer 1.5kg. Dined here twice. Good quality food well prepared. Ordered a large t-bone steak to share between 4. Told that it would be better if we had two. Indeed it was excellent and better than the single large one we had the week before elsewhere which wasn't cooked through. Fish, pasta and pizza also good. Maybe better to go elsewhere for pizza if that's all you want. Given a free tiramisu to compare with my wife's. It was not as good.
