Wonderful quality, both in terms of the preparation and the staff. Old-fashioned kindness, and... the dark chocolate cup filled with zabaglione took me on a trip to heaven! Highly recommended! ❤️

They've changed management, and everything is great. The coffee shop has improved dramatically. The cream croissant is delicious and full of vanilla. I have to say, one of the best places in the neighborhood for breakfast, with very reasonable prices.

Today we stumbled upon the extraordinary venue Bar Venezia Pasticceria! We are visiting Bologna from Australia and are two weeks into a four-week stay. We seem to be spending our time walking from our CBD rented apartment and simply seeing where we end up. What a pleasure to be warmly welcomed by all the staff as we ordered then ate fresh-from-the-oven pizza Margherita and the freshest ever bread roll with burrata, prosciutto and rucola. We finished our meal by sampling four of the piccolo pastries with our coffees. Pure bliss! We can’t purtroppo return tomorrow due to other commitments but will be back the day after…do not miss visiting this cafe. Highly recommended Beth and David

Bar and pastry shop well stocked with both sweet and savory products. Possibility of sitting down for a hot chocolate or an aperitif, or for lunch, since there are ready meals, fresh, for example: cutlet and vegetables or roast beef and side dish. Dehors for being outdoors and for smokers.

30/10/2025: At Sabino, you're pampered. We decided to go to the restaurant for lunch on Sunday, close to our wedding anniversary: ​​we wanted something less crowded, perhaps seafood, but my husband remembered a restaurant in the lower Bologna area... and of course, he was wrong! After calling to make a reservation, he realized it wasn't the place he remembered, but we went anyway: our first experience at a PLACE THAT MOSTLY STARRED. We spent a fortune, but we have no regrets! We were the only guests in the dining room, served and pampered by Chef Sabino: delicious dishes, made with excellent ingredients, with sophisticated presentations and combinations. The fregola with shellfish (a dish that earned a Michelin star) and the creamed cod with truffle were amazing. The restaurant isn't for everyone's budget, but it's worth a visit... or maybe twice!
29/06/2025: Very fresh fish expertly prepared (and described) by the chef. Everything is excellent, starting from the bread and ending with the sorbets and ice creams. New and unusual combinations in a refined and sophisticated environment

Trattoria Da Carlet

28/09/2025: It was my first time eating at Carlet, and the experience was positive. I had an appetizer (mixed crostini), a first course (tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and speck), and a dessert (wild berry tart). The appetizer was delicious: there are four (quite large) crostini, each served with porcini mushrooms, goose liver pâté, mixed vegetables, and Colonnata lard. The first course was equally good, though it's a shame they served it almost cold. The dessert was exceptional: the tart is served warm, with a delicious berry jam and a generous dusting of powdered sugar. I'll definitely be back.
