The manager, an elderly gentleman, explained to me the difference between his ice cream and all the others, the first is made daily with real raw materials, the others are the result of processing milk and aromatic powders, which is why the ice creams they are always available, even when they run out. It won't be the most beautiful place you'll see in Polignano, but I assure you that you wouldn't trade the flavor of this ice cream for anything in the world. SPECIAL!!

We tasted the ice cream (hazelnut and fior di latte flavour) in this ice cream shop on a Saturday evening in July. Really very good hazelnut flavour. Two negative notes: ice cream cones served without napkins, but passed to the customer with hands that who knows what they touch (money, etc.). The owner didn't greet us with a half smile, on the contrary, he seemed annoyed. I understand the amount of people you see, asking the same questions, I understand the working hours, the heat, the Saturday evening, but remember that, if you have a business, the best welcome is hygiene and hospitality.

Il gelato più buono che io abbia mai mangiato. Pochi gusti ma autentici. Non ha rivali. Gusto e tradizione che giustificano il look anni 70 del locale. Ultimamente è diventato raro trovare ancora dei gelati così.
