Let me start by saying it's a historic bar with a 20th-century feel. The decor and ambiance remind me of the bars I frequented as a child, and fortunately, modernity hasn't completely changed the bar, which remains crystallized in its identity. This is priceless to me. I happily spend my work lunch breaks at Bar Torino. I love their sandwiches, made with fresh bread delivered every morning. The fillings are made with quality cured meats, all sorts of cheeses, freshly cut vegetables, and a wide selection of pickles and preserves in oil. The price is incredible for the quality: a sandwich will set you back 5 euros. For the same price, in the area, you'd end up with a homemade tramezzino, and what's more, half-empty, as sad as a loan shark's debt. They often serve hot first courses, homemade omelettes, and similar meals during lunch breaks. I personally prefer the sandwiches, but everything is on par. The staff is calm and kind, professional people who seem to have come from another era, reminding us how to work. Professional and always low-key, they never show signs of lapses or excesses. Always discreet. I love their way of doing things.

The essence of my city's history...the owners are expert in their craft...without the affectations and theatrics of inexperienced, tattooed bartenders...Bar Torino is a dimension of simplicity...I go in because I feel like I've gone back in time to a time when the world was untouched. The owners' quiet, reserved style deserves great respect.
