Just heard that the BSC is closed for renovation until mid-Feb. Just before we arrive in Rome to check in to the apt we rented specifically to be able to visit our favorite bar first thing every morning for coffee and maritozzi!! This hits me like a ton of bricks. Why change perfection? We’ve made this place our home in many visits over the years. It will never be the same, at least for us. 😢 Progress!!

Let's gooooo!!! This is awesome...hehehehe. This excitement is simply the joy of finding a place in Rome where the beer is cold and good, and at a very competitive price, perfect for the young crowd that frequents the area. There are usually street musicians entertaining the afternoon, and a multitude of young people creating an incredible atmosphere. If you go to Rome and pass through Trastevere, don't hesitate for a second to quench your thirst at this place.

Located near the Church of Santa Maria, it offers a welcoming indoor and outdoor setting. It serves cornetti (the Italian version of a croissant) and gelato. Reasonable prices, with coffee or beer starting from €1-10. Good service with friendly staff. In the evenings, there's live music. A great place to enjoy Rome!
