It's not a bar... it's a big family ready to welcome you with open arms. It's a meeting place where time seems to have stood still and where the prices are truly unbeatable. I love this place, which always gives you a unique experience. Marcellino is like a father to all of us, brightening up your day with a joke and a curse word.

The beer was cheap, there were lots of people, and I don't understand why they wouldn't let you leave even with the plastic cup, haha, but it was great, fast service, and cheap too.

This is the ultimate local gem in Trastevere. By day, it’s your go-to for one of the best cappuccinos in Europe and a pastry that’ll make you want to linger and people-watch. By afternoon and evening, it becomes a buzzing, super affordable hangout for a cold beer with the locals. Posti unico! Durante una passeggiata al Testaccio è d'obbligo fermarsi in questo bar e assaporare un po' di autenticità romana. E' ormai un punto di ritrovo per i turisti, ma la sua 'forma' permette ancora di ritrovarsi tra gente genuina che decide di 'fermare il tempo' e godersi una birra a prezzi ormai RARI! Grandi!

08/10/2025: Definitely a must do in Rome! The chill and feel-at-home type of restaurant, which I adore wholeheartedly. No tourist trap, local and cozy atmosphere. Dishes are amazing, waiters there are so friendly and helping. I will surely be back there when I’m in Rome again.
