Wo erlebt man noch folgendes? Wir bestellten "nur" einen Caprese- Salat und ein Glas Chianti. Als die freundliche Bedienung servierte, war der "Aufschnitt" von feiner piemonteser Wurst und einer Art Mortadella ohne die üblichen hellen Fettanteile nicht das Bestellte . Die Überraschung: Die erste Platte war ein mit viel frischem Brot offerierter Apéro ! Auch Wein und das "richtige" Essen waren gut - das Trinkgeld gab ich gern. Mille grazie RUDY !

In the heart of the square of Santa Maria Maggiore it has a privileged position. The service is good, quite fast despite the mess of people. But you can't see the wine served in a plastic glass (but I didn't penalize this serious mistake too much because the staff deserves more than 5 stars) it costs €€ in the norm, like an aperitif in Milan or a little less.

In the square of the wonderful Santa Maria Maggiore, there is this splendid bar run entirely by women (if I'm not mistaken). We enjoyed a great breakfast with an incredible view and an incredibly fair bill for its location. I don't want to incentivize management to raise costs but to praise them for not taking advantage of their privileged position. Optimal. Go there.

Bar Rudi never disappoints us... my husband and I always choose it when we are in Santa Maria Maggiore for a good breakfast, an aperitif and to enjoy a delicious stinchett. Everyone is always very kind and compliments.
