A recommended stop for the foliage train, located in the center of the beautiful Santa Maria Maggiore, it's an unpretentious place, with a selection of top-quality cured meats and cheeses!

Excellent bar in the city center. Informal but with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Spritz accompanied by a generous plate. We didn't add an excellent cheese and cold cuts platter. Quick and helpful staff. Very fair prices.

We happened to arrive in Santa Maria Maggiore during the Fuori di Zucca festival and had the pleasure of tasting the excellent pumpkin risotto (precisely ☺️) cooked by Mrs. Marisa, a true culinary experience. We had seconds watching her cook in the square with extraordinary skill and passion. Congratulations!

A bar I've been frequenting for years, and my family and I always enjoy returning. The quality of the products is average, but considering their fair prices, the selection is excellent and the value is unbeatable. I really appreciate that the prices remain the same even on special occasions, unlike many other places. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home. ​Note: I can't rate the rooms/accommodation because I only used the bar service. ​Honorable mention: their Campari Spritz (not Aperol) is truly unique and special, and for that alone it's worth the visit and the 10 stars!

Iconic bar in Santa Maria Maggiore, located at the entrance to the main square. Recommended for a simple aperitivo with well-fortified drinks. A double tour is recommended to enjoy the experience. It gets very crowded in high season. P.S. Go on an empty stomach.

A nice bar, in the center of Santa Maria Maggiore, in the main square. I stopped in for a quick aperitivo. The service is good, but the aperitivo is a bit lacking, but for an unpretentious break, it's fine.
