Summary- Good for drinks and small bites. Details- Busy cafe on the waterfront, 20 meters from Lake Como. Tables inside and outside. We had Italian old fashioned soda and nice pastries. Average service. One toilet outside in the small street. It is locked. Ask at the bar inside to open door. Credit cards accepted. Some English spoken.

We rate this 5 star as you need to be patient as they are really busy and once a table becomes available, they will get you a seat. The service was friendly and no doubt they are under the pump, but we didn’t find any issues with the food or drinks or service.

Nice place to get a drink and eat properly. There's no cover service, which is appreciated because they inflate the bill significantly with this charge. We had lasagna, perfect quality/price. You can go elsewhere, but you'll probably be paying an exorbitant price for similar quality.

Este es un gran lugar para tomar bebidas y un aperitivo mientras espera un ferry. Fuimos en un día lluvioso, así que estaba muy lleno de gente tratando de ponerse a cubierto. A pesar de las multitudes, el servicio fue rápido y amable, los aperitivos buenos, y disfrutó de la cerveza local.

Comida muy agradable - tuvimos algunos platos de pasta y pan para llenarnos como platos de pasta en Italia son lado de entrada. El servicio fue rápido.

24/04/2025: Estuvimos parando en Varenna por unas noches, así que usamos la extensa red de ferrys para visitar más pueblos alrededor del lago que incluía este en mennagio. Hermoso lugar con este café que tenía asientos al aire libre con vistas a la plaza pavimentada. Tuvimos un peroni cada uno a € 5 , luego un panini de jamón & ensalada de queso a € 7 cada uno servido por personal amable.
27/12/2024: Ci siamo fermati io e mia moglie a mangiare un panino a pranzo. Ottimo sia il toast che la focaccia ligure. Accompagnati da due prosecchi.
