FIRST OF ALL: You simply can't compare German standards here with those there. This is an older, simple campsite where the focus is on spending the night and occasionally swimming; it wouldn't have been suitable for us for longer stays in a camper/tent. There are a lot of Italians there at the moment, as they also vacation there from the mainland, depending on the season. We stayed here for 3 nights, and I have to praise the campsite. Communication via WhatsApp was problem-free, and the staff was very friendly! There are plenty of trash containers, and electricity and WiFi are available at the bar. We got a tent spot in the front row, right on the beach. The price is relatively normal by German standards. The bar there is fantastic; a very nice gentleman there, and very good coffee no matter when you feel like it. I think it's ideal for spending the night, occasionally jumping into the sea, and walking into town. The main sanitary facilities are old Italian and not in great condition, but you can use the much newer, better sanitary facilities on the property opposite by the mobile homes as this belongs to the campsite, so everything was fine for us as far as that was concerned.
