Second courses are the forte of this family-run, welcoming establishment in the historic center of the beautiful Santa Fiora. The house wines are also excellent.

This is our second time at the Piazzetta, and we had a wonderful meal. The platter, bruschetta, fettuccine with wild boar (the best I've ever eaten), tagliata with truffles, fillet with porcini mushrooms, potato flan, spinach flan, and tiramisu: all excellent. Compliments to Maître d' Stefano, who recommended side dishes to pair with our main courses and was a true professional. After paying, we stopped to chat with Stefano: a pleasant conversation! Excellent dinner, excellent service, and excellent value!

When we were in Pienza it was the low tourist season and some restaurants were closed, so we ended up coming to this one located in a hotel, which made us a little suspicious. Our mistake. The food was good, the pasta tasty, the service attentive, the space quite pleasant and the price wasn't... that of a hotel.

We had a great experience, from the service and atmosphere to the food. The carbonara for two is delicious and very generously served, one of the best carbonara I've ever tasted. I highly recommend it and would return many times! The tiramisu is divine, the best I've had in Italy. I loved Pienza.

The place is a little dated but welcoming. The waiters are very kind and make you feel at home. The food is excellent, with fresh ingredients and simple, authentic dishes without too many frills.

A 10/10 experience! The waiter Stefano was incredibly kind, and calling him a waiter is an understatement. He welcomed us and served us with meticulous attention to detail. The cuisine was truly excellent; every dish was fabulous. Truly nothing to complain about, highly recommended.
