18/01/2025: Good morning. BAR FIAT is in via Kennedy in Reggio nell'Emilia near a Tabacchi. It is a very well-known BAR run by (ITALIANS) I am not writing this to discriminate, no one closes on Saturday afternoon/Sunday. The owners are 2 super-fantastic guys Giulio/Cristian assisted by a nice, bubbly, very good girl PAMELA. They make excellent breakfasts but at lunch they also have first courses with drinks, Liqueurs with our Lambrusco but also other Marches. It is very popular with nice, cheerful customers. There is a large area and a toilet that is always tidy, even for the disabled. The Bar Fiat is located with other businesses a few hundred meters from an auto electrician, the Castagnoli bakery, a petrol station with the Kennedy shopping center with Self Service, and if you want there is also space for campers / caravans passing through (there are no services only short stop) not far from the Reggio Nell'Emilia motorway toll booth and the Via Emilia for people who want to stop and rest. Then there is the CAU (assistance and emergency center open 24 hours a day) it was a great idea as these CAU help our S. Maria Hospital and Province a lot to ease the flow of those in need for health. YOU NEED TO CALL TO BOOK 24 HOURS THEY WILL TELL YOU WHAT TIME TO SHOW UP without going through the hospital if it is not a real emergency (TEL./ O522 290001) THE HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL ANSWERS 24 HOURS AWAY WILL DIRECT YOU TO THE NEAREST .... CAU. The Emilia Romagna Region is the only one to have CAU centers.....too bad it should be extended throughout Italy including the islands. Returning to the BAR FIAT take a tour you will be satisfied....and you will definitely return.
