Cappuccino and croissants €3.40. If you need to use the restroom, they'll only open the door after you've presented your receipt. Since it's located opposite the train station, it's only ideal for a quick stop. The staff isn't very friendly. There are a few outdoor tables under the portico, where you'll also find a newsstand and bus ticket vendor.

I stopped in as soon as I left the station. The place isn't the most trendy, but the sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had in Padua (and a great variety, too), and the staff was also very friendly. It might be a coincidence, but for me it was a positive experience. RECOMMENDED.
