We bought the 750g panettone and we were disappointed. Dry consistency and leavening with few bubbles. The taste was quite good but the texture on the palate was stringy. Sorry… disappointment

Era da tempo che volevamo provare questa pasticceria, rinomata a Torino per la tart tropecienne. L'esperienza non è stata del tutto positiva: buono il cappuccino, normali sia la veneziana che la torta tropeziana (una bella fetta), il tutto senza servizio al tavolo e a prezzi piuttosto elevati. Non ci tornerò.

Sono andato da "UVA" per acquistare una tropézienne per un compleanno. Già al mio arrivo, sono stato salutato da tutto lo staff presente (cosa non da poco, visto che in alcuni locali quando entri sembra quasi che dai fastidio). Sono stato servito da una signora molto gentile. Per quanto riguarda il dessert...meraviglioso! Ha ricevuto i complimenti di tutte le persone presenti (anche di chi non l'aveva mai provato). Una garanzia

historic place, "do it yourself" table service, we had breakfast with excellent cream cannoli and croissants but... the worst cappuccino of my life: very bitter watered down coffee only covered in lots of milk foam... almost non-existent, even the coffee was awful... shame not having been able to sip something better with desserts.

The Tropeziana must become a World Heritage Site. Despite the no-frills venue, a stop at Uva to taste this cake is a must for any visit to the city.
