Here you will find kindness and courtesy and after we can talk about the excellent pastry shop, passing by the coffee shop where they never make burnt coffee even when the place is full.

The best croissants in the area….very friendly and warm staff….5 stars are too few for me, they deserve many more. Very good 💯👏🏻🔝 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I've been coming here for years now during the summer, both for breakfast and for an evening coffee. Excellent croissants in assorted flavors, as well as their homemade pastries. Impeccable and friendly service. Relaxing atmosphere with indoor tables and air conditioning. A small outdoor area with a table for those who prefer to dine al fresco. Ample free parking is available nearby. Recommended.

My wife and I have thoroughly explored the pastry shops in Taranto and the surrounding province, and I must say, with absolute sincerity, that Amedeo and Marta D'Ippolito are from another planet. Their small but welcoming Bar Pasticceria Santomaj is a rare gem for its quality, deliciousness, and delicacy. Absolutely excellent. Their friendliness, hospitality, and the joy with which they work round out the whole experience, which is truly rare. Great!!!

14/05/2025: Nous cherchions un restaurant ce dimanche lors de notre visite sur grottaglie. Jolie surprise que ce restaurant 😊 nous avons été très bien accueillis, le cadre est sympatique et joliment décoré. J'ai degusté des orechiettes délicieuses. je recommande vivement ce restaurant à l'écart et au calme du village 🥰 Merci j'y retournerais avec plaisir si je retourne aux pouilles un jour.
17/02/2025: Ieri , domenica, siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante a Grottaglie , a pochi chilometri da Taranto Locale , arredamento : caratteristico con elemti di arredo tipici di questa zona d’ Italia , VOTO 6.5 Gentilezza del personale , ottima , VOTO 8 Antipasti : baccalà da urlo , VOTO 10 Catalana , piatto ordinario , VOTO 5.5 Pane assortito e accompagnato da pezzi di focaccia , VOTO 8.5 Secondi : cotechino artigianale , molto buono ma un po’ salato , VOTO 7.5 Manzo cotto a bassa temperatura , DA URLO”, VOTO 10 Dolce: spumone con mandorle , VOTO 7 Prezzo corretto , VOTO 8 COMPLIMENTI !!!
