Historic pastry bar in San Pietro in Casale. Excellent for breakfasts (the cappuccino is comparable to the nectar of the gods) and welcoming for aperitifs. Even in this period maximum attention to Covid safety regulations, also having comfortable outdoor seats

Definitely one of the best pastry shops in Bologna and its province. Pastries always fresh and above all chock full of cream (custard, pistachio, hazelnut etc.). All the artisanal sweets/savouries are excellent. Highly recommended

20/02/2025: If you want to have breakfast at the station before departure I recommend the exchange bar. The place is bright and spacious, the coffee is always good and the staff Kristine and Anna are professional and dedicated to their work!

16/02/2025: Stopped here for a coffee and a croissant before heading to a course. Your perfect neighbourhood cafe that serves simple pastries and coffee. No fuss place where all the locals seem to go in the area. The service was fast and friendly, food was decent and overall a nice buzzing atmosphere. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area.
16/01/2025: The cost-effectiveness is just so-so.
