I tried the Caravatti red liqueur. I wasn't particularly impressed. However, they did bring me a container of taralli and chips, both very generous in portions! Those who tried to go to the bathroom said... pitiful. The place is vintage, with a mid-19th-century and Art Nouveau style.

Even though my clumsy girlfriend dropped the ragù ball from the cicchetto, they replaced it without charging us... and the spritz was good!

Good prices, very tasteful and well-maintained interior decor, but the bathroom needs improvement, which, I'm sorry to say, was truly scandalous. The drinks were quite good, and the snacks offered (chips and taralli) were very popular, but even here, we should be very careful with our checks, as we found a bit of dirt in both bowls. Friendly staff.

Very nice historic setting. We were served by a blond guy at the counter who was very kind and attentive. Bravo!

Everything was good, the staff were very friendly, and the location was excellent in the center. However, honestly, with all due respect, that bathroom is unthinkable. I'm Sicilian, and in the south, you wouldn't find a bathroom like this even in the worst shacks; it simply doesn't exist. So, I'd recommend fixing this situation. We'll gladly return.

The American Caravatti is excellent, and the canapés are excellent. I'd invest in two more infrared heaters because it's freezing outside in the two outermost rows (even a simple cushion on the iron chairs would help), but I'd happily return for an aperitivo every time I pass through Mantua's city center!
