Bar Papillon In Castelsardo

I was staying in Castelsardo with some friends, and they recommended this place, not far from where we were staying. Given the short distance, we tried everything from aperitivo to a typical Sardinian dinner on Sundays, all at a very reasonable price. Impeccable service and a top-notch bartender! Highly recommended!

The fries were good. The pizza dough didn't seem cooked through yet. The staff don't speak English, but ordering is still easy.

Very poor service. The waitress came to clear the plates while 2 people hadn't finished eating yet. What's more, we spoke to her in Italian and she replied in English?! The meal is too expensive for what it is.

A rather simple restaurant, it might seem less sophisticated, but nothing could be further from the truth. The service was very friendly, and the food was delicious. During the day, you can grab sandwiches, which can be a lifesaver during siesta time.

We were staying in Castelsardo and were recommended this place near the sea in Lu Bagnu, where we could have lunch, not far from where we were staying. No wait for a table. We ordered the seafood menu: Sardinian gnocchi with zucchini and shrimp, fried fish, and peppered mussels. The portions were generous, the fried fish was not greasy, and everything was freshly prepared on the spot by Mrs. Giovannagela. We enjoyed it so much that we returned that evening for dinner, accompanied by the karaoke evening. We'll be back next year. Highly recommended.

Pretty good coffee, easygoing staff. We were treated like pals and not revered clients, and that's how I like it.
