The burger is of average quality, but it's worth eating pane cunzato - very good bread.

Great restaurant in former 18th Century mansion, caters for diners in the courtyard but also has a rear terrace which overlooks the bay.
Great service from Claudia, Dario and the other ragazzi!
Superb food. Highlights are: Seafood soup (zuppa di pesce) which is almost like fish stew served with delicious fried bread, beccafico (sardines stuffed with breadcrumbs, pine nuts and served with orange), Linguine with sea urchins (ricci di mare), local pasta busiate with the Sicilian traditional ingredients of sardines, fennel, raisins, pine nuts and breadcrumbs, linguine with red mullet (troglie) and fennel. Great wine - try the Grillo. And don't forget a super strong caffe to finish up with!

A small structure in the ancient village of Scopello (TP).
Bar and small welcoming restaurant offering typical local dishes (sficione, arancine and arancinette, cunzatu bread and much more).
On holiday a week ago, I went there twice, even though I wasn't staying on site.
Very kind and helpful staff.
Average prices
If you like sweets you must try the cassata in a glass jar. Top.

The food was a real pleasure... especially the fried seafood 🍤 and pasta with swordfish :) 🐟
We had a little mistake with the dishes but the waiter managed to solve it quickly :)
It's not cheap but it's worth it 🤌

En wat doe je als er een enorm onweer losbarst bij aankomst. Dan beland je in een klein fijn dorpje, kruip je onder een zonnescherm op pleintje en wordt gewoon bediend en hebt een fantastische middag. Dat deden we uiteraard nog een keertje over, maar ditmaal geen hapjes met wijn maar uitgebreide lunch aan de achterzijde met prachtig uitzicht. Bieden waren een groot succes.

What a perfect evening it was! Close to the best Beef Steak I have ever eaten at an unbeatable price, all members of the staff were super friendly, and the ambient music was also amazing. The tables on the terrace with a view on the sea/bay of Scopello provide a breathtaking atmosphere - do NOT sit in the front yard, but walk up to the bar/inside of the restaurant and then further down on to the terrace.
