We went to this bakery on our vacation in Sicily. We only had a drink, but the atmosphere and service were great. There were a lot of customers there who picked up pastries. It all looked very tasty. You won't find any tourism here, but the locals are here. Which is always a very good sign.

We were passing through this little village, heading to Piazza Armerina. This pastry shop was a galactic discovery. Moderate prices but the quality of the desserts, the kindness of the owners...truly top notch. Highly recommended.

Small pastry bar on the state road about 14 km from Caltagirone. The production of pastry specialties is very famous, among which "bananas" stand out...an ancient dessert of the local tradition, filled with a white cream, to say the least, graceful.....which probably has the shape of a banana but not the taste, so to speak. But the magical surprise is revealed by its filling......nothing to do with traditional custards, but of a sublime goodness.....different from the usual. Stop for a moment, and tell me!

18/08/2024: Excellent pizza as always, this time I took advice from our friend Nino, the restaurant manager (🔝), I enjoyed a simple pizza but with a summer note
14/08/2024: We had dinner one evening driven by the reviews and the registration with the AIC, as my son has celiac disease. The restaurant is in the center of Acireale, parking is not easy. The owner welcomed us very kindly. The pizzas are good and the location is nice. Honest prices.

14/08/2024: Pros: Silent, cool and airy outdoor location on hot summer evenings. Medium flow rates. Courteous staff. Various combinations of dishes, both a la carte and complete menus of various types. Parking. Against: the bottle of wine was brought to us by the waiter directly in the basket, already opened, without being opened at the table and without the Sommelier having tasted it! Spaghetti and clams, and very tasty, very salty swordfish rolls Gluten Free spaghetti and clams, served with chopped spaghetti instead! with inability to roll up in the fork. The web menu is not reliable in allergens: for example, I wanted to order swordfish rolls (on the allergen-free menu) but I was told that they contained wheat crumbs/breadcrumbs!
