Bar Moncelli In Prato

A cute 1970s-style Italian bar that I'm particularly fond of because 20 years ago my grandfather used to come here to buy pastries on Sundays. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic. I also really appreciate the newspapers on every table. It can sometimes get a bit crowded, and it's not always easy to find a seat.

Always impeccable, for breakfast, a snack with friends or even alone... as well as an aperitif, etc. I recommend going there.

The staff is always friendly, and the place gets a little crowded at peak times, but still manageable. They have everything from sweet to savory, and I've never had trouble finding a seat.

I won't comment on the pastry shop, but they definitely make one of the best coffees in Prato.

Before talking about their pastries and savory dishes, I'd like to talk about the staff: how good are these baristas? I've been to many bars and I can tell you that I've NEVER found anyone so friendly, kind, and smiling, always available. The atmosphere is truly different as soon as you enter this place; they make you feel at home and truly welcomed. UNIQUE. The pastries are delicious, and the savory dishes are really good too.
