Beautiful location overlooking the Roman excavations of Montegrotto Terme. Friendly staff. Delicious pastries and an excellent cappuccino. The beautiful, decadent retro atmosphere always reminds me of my time in Buenos Aires.

The products and prices are good. What makes Bar Merano special is the relaxed atmosphere and sophisticated ambiance. The owner is always friendly and polite, wearing a shirt and tie. It feels a bit like being in a 1970s James Bond film.

29/10/2025: I've had breakfast at this café twice and I have to say I had a great time. I had one of the best cream brioches I've had in years. The staff is really friendly and serves you quickly. I absolutely recommend it. The only downside might be finding parking, but there are parking lots available across the street.
14/10/2025: Nice place, but the spritz selection is a bit limited for the price.
