Mr. Giovanni and his wife, Mrs. Ivana, are very kind. Excellent coffees, cappuccinos with delicious croissants. From Mr. Giovanni, I learned to use his excellent cocoa instead of sugar on the cappuccino and coffee.

After enjoying an excellent cappuccino, the owner asked me if I wanted more foam, topped with a little chocolate powder and chocolate curls. It was perfect. It made me start the day with a big smile. The owner is very kind.

Good cappuccino and Kamut brioche for €2.90. With the cappuccino, they offer you a jar of cocoa powder with chocolate chips, which you can add if you wish. When I expressed my satisfaction with the taste of the brioche, they politely pointed out that it's from a bakery. There are no seats. Served by VERY KIND people. The bar is located on the corner of Via Tommaseo and not far from the train station.

This morning I stumbled upon this little café with my friends before class, and we were greeted by a very sweet and helpful gentleman who, with his morning enthusiasm, prepared us breakfast. The owner and the coffee were highly appreciated.

It's difficult for me to talk about Giovanni and Ivana because it's like talking about my own family: it's something delicate, intimate, and personal. I started going to their first bar on a side street off Corso Venezia when I was in my third year of university (it was 1972)! Those were unforgettable evenings, often nights; twenty, thirty, and more, eating enormous, delicious toasties with CERES and TUBORG beers, spending very little! And even now, over 50 years later, with a new location, new customers, the kindness, freshness, friendliness, and reasonable prices, it's a place close to our hearts.
