Bar Magrì In Catania

Unfortunately, it's not particularly tasty, very average. You can sit inside or outside, but it's not comfortable either.

Our favorite neighborhood bar. They have everything and it's fresh. I 100% recommend it. The granitas are delicious, and the spinach arancini is my favorite.

The waitresses are very kind, the staff was available to fill a cannolo for me on the spot since there were none ready, and the ricotta was very good.

Delicious tiramisu, a very large portion, good drinks. For a small order, we got a free bowl of nuts, snacks, a small bag of chips, and a warm pizza with delicious tomato sauce. Yes, all this is free, no extra charge. The place is open 24 hours a day; I lived nearby, and at all hours, it was packed with customers, and the tables were full. That says something. I recommend this place.

Sono venuta qui con tre colleghe durante la pausa pranzo tra un esame e l’altro. Il locale è carino e il cibo nel complesso buono — io ho preso una granita con brioche, e anche se la brioche è arrivata tardi, era buona. Il gelato al pistacchio a una mia collega non è piaciuto, ma io l’ho assaggiato e sinceramente non era male. Il problema, purtroppo, è stato il servizio. Abbiamo aspettato oltre 30 minuti solo per riuscire a ordinare (nonostante avessimo chiesto più volte), mentre altri tavoli arrivati dopo venivano serviti prima di noi. Quando l’ordine è finalmente arrivato, mancavano un gelato, la brioche, e uno dei gelati era sbagliato. Alcune cose sono state sistemate dopo altre richieste e altri minuti di attesa, ma una delle mie colleghe ha dovuto chiedere il suo gelato tre volte prima di riceverlo, ormai quasi a fine pausa. Siamo rimaste lì oltre un’ora e mezza, con l’ansia degli esami che erano già ricominciati. Spero sia stato solo un giorno di confusione, perché con un servizio più attento l’esperienza sarebbe stata molto più positiva.
