Originally we were just looking for a place to rest, but we unexpectedly found a special cafe with no menu. We also had a plate of desserts for us to choose from. The special bread had sugar crystal particles on the surface, and the lemon fragrance overflowed when we bit it. Then we had the delicious taste of the Coude donuts. The two of us enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea here. The coffee latte was also smooth and not bitter. Highly recommend🥰
The food and the service at this place are absolutely fantastic. We had cacio e pepe and pasta carbonara with a cream puff for dessert (which was definitely NOT necessary).
We had stumbled upon the restaurant when we needed to get out of the rain. The barman and the patrons were very engaging!
The place is filled with locals, an excellent sign. We will definitely return next time we are in Rome.
